🐾 Our Story: From South Africa to South Manchester
Welcome to The Dog Walkers! We are Daz and Viv, your friendly, award-winning dog walkers in South Manchester.
Vivienne and I met some years ago during an extended visit to South Africa. I am a Joiner by trade and an animal lover by heart. For over 40 years I have loved and cared for my own dogs. For some time, I wanted to move away from Joinery and follow my dreams of working with animals for a living, and today I cannot imagine doing anything else.
🦁 Expertise You Can Trust: Our Animal Handling Background
Viv left the corporate world 15 years ago to follow her passion of working with animals. Where she successfully built a Wildlife Consulting business.
She was professionally involved in the hand rearing of wild cats such as serval & caracal, the capture, relocation, and rehabilitation of various other animals from small antelope to rhino. When Viv decided that she would join me in my home town of Manchester, there was no doubt in our minds that with our mutual love for animals and the outdoors, the logical step would be for us to find a way to follow our hearts and work with animals, and so The Dog Walkers was established.
