Handing your dog and your house keys to someone new is a big deal — so it helps to know exactly what happens. Here’s how a first booking with us works, from hello to the photo that lands on your phone.
It starts with a free meet & greet
Before any walk, we come to your home for a relaxed, no-obligation meet & greet. We get to know your dog, learn their routine, quirks and recall, sort keys and emergency details, and answer your questions. It’s also your chance to see our insurance, DBS and first-aid paperwork in person.
The first walk: we take it slow
For the first outing we keep things calm and short, often one-to-one, so your dog builds trust with us before joining the gang. Nervous or reactive dogs stay on solo walks for as long as they need; confident, sociable dogs are eased into a temperament-matched group walk.
Safe, secure travel
If we’re heading somewhere further afield, your dog travels in a secure, climate-controlled van with individual space — never loose. They’re collected from and returned to your door.
Keys, safety and your routine
We treat your keys and home with total care — stored securely and never labelled with your address. Our team is fully insured, DBS-checked and Canine First Aid trained, which you can read more about on our accreditations and insurance page.
Your photo update
After every walk you get a photo or video update, so you can see the muddy, happy evidence of a good time. And thanks to the Clean Dog Promise, your dog comes home towel-dried — not caked in half of Wythenshawe Park.
